We've all learned by now of the aborted attempts to combine the epic DC movie heroes (Superman and Batman, of course) into some sort of mighty powerhouse Superman Vs. Batman film spectacular. Thankfully, all such attempts have died in the water -- let's face it, trying to combine any of the previous film incarnations of the Man of Steel with any previous film incarnation of the Dark Knight would not have been a sweet idea. However, both heroes have been given new life in the box office world, and so naturally with these successes comes the revival of a battle royale flick.

Guess who wants it? If you guessed Bryan Singer, you are absolutely correct. Singer admitted he's been thinking about the project for some time, but he knows Superman needs more movies before a combo deal would be popular: "I guess Batman would be the villain, but then he can't be too bad, because he is Batman. So not quite yet. ... I think Superman needs to have his own movies for a little while before that happens."

Am I the only one here thinking "hey, let's not pass the Batman character on to anyone other than Christopher Nolan for the time being"? Choosing between the two flicks I'd have to say I thought Batman Begins was the better experience, and I see no reason to get Singer involved with the character. And given the track record of attempts on Superman vs. Batman, I probably don't have much to worry about.
