Argh, stuff like this really frustrates me. A brand new extended trailer for Rocky Balboa is here, in the flesh ... just not online. Well, it is online, but in the form of a clip from The Insider. So you say, "If it's online, then why are you so frustrated Mr. Davis?" Well, because The Insider is crap. Because they can't show a trailer without cutting in at some point with their own clever little sound-byte. Why? What's so hard about shutting up for two minutes while an exclusive trailer that tons of folks have been waiting for plays out?

Usually, stuff like this wouldn't be a problem because, by the time shows like The Insider begin covering a film, the trailer is already online. And, even if it's not online, then usually within 24 hours of it premiering on The Insider, it hits the net. Not here folks. Not with Rocky Balboa. I'm not sure why Sony is waiting so long to debut it here, but it's jamming up my whole day. Keep an eye out if you're heading to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest this weekend as the new Rocky Balboa trailer is said to be attached to some prints. Hopefully a cleaner copy will show up in the next 48 hours or so and, if that's the case, I'll throw it into this week's Trailer Park.
