A little rumor sprung up over the weekend and it revolves around a very cool Good Will Hunting reunion. As we already know by now, production on The Bourne Ultimatum is gearing up to begin sometime in the next month or so, with folks currently in the midst of casting. Ultimatum, which marks the third installment in the Bourne franchise, finds Matt Damon returning to the role of Jason Bourne who, this time, is on a quest to learn more about his past while attempting to outwit the slew of government agents hot on his trail.
According to Cinescape via one of their super secret sources, the folks in charge of casting Ultimatum are looking to bring Robin Williams onboard the film. Supposedly, Williams would play someone "very close to Jason Bourne." If I had to take a wild guess here, I'd say Williams' character would have something to do with Bourne's past, possibly a family member who holds the key to unlocking all those unanswered questions. Seeing as the script will differ greatly from the book, it's anyone's call here -- for all we know Williams could be playing a determined father who dresses up as a woman in order to find a way back into his son's life. Yikes. Though this remains a giant rumor, it would be a wise move seeing as Damon and Williams already have great chemistry on screen together. Hopefully Julia Stiles won't get jealous.
