Twentieth Century Fox (through their animation studios) have just provided with some early images from the upcoming Horton Hears a Who, based on the classic children's book, which will feature the vocal talents of Jim Carrey and Steve Carrell. One look at the two beautiful pictures, and I immediately thought "Dr. Seuss would be proud of these." Go have a look and see for yourself, the images just scream classic Seuss-y style, almost as if they sprang from the pages right onto the screen and ... uh ... morphed into fancy looking 3D CGI while they were at it.

Yes, I'm an unashamed lover of all things Seuss. Really, who among us isn't? If this film plays well (and I have trouble imagining it not doing so), it is probably likely we'll see more animated Seuss headed our way soon, which is a truly wonderful proposition. Hands up, everyone who wants to see Bartholomew and the Oobleck! Who is in favor of a brand-new cinematic Great Butter Battle?*

*And wow, how timely would a Great Butter Battle movie be, given the current world climate?
