New York City film fans might want to hightail it over to the Soho Apple Store tonight, where indieWIRE Presents will be hosting director Darren Aronofsky for a discussion tonight at 7PM. The event is free and open to the public. Aronofsky will discuss his film The Fountain, starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, which opens on November 22.

I saw The Fountain at Toronto and wasn't overly impressed with the storyline, although visually the film is quite stunning. I'm hoping to get another chance to catch it before it opens though; I saw the film at the tail end of TIFF, after over two weeks of film festivaling, so on the chance that my feelings about the film were tainted by fest burnout, I'd really like to see it again.

If you're in New York City and you go to hear Aronofsky speak about the film tonight, come back and let us know all about it in the comments.
