A new batch of pics for Rob Zombie's re-imagined Halloween have hit the net, one of which gives us our first glimpse of Daeg Faerch as the young Michael Myers -- fully dressed in scary clown outfit -- with an equally spooky Zombie sitting right beside him. Of course, there's another creepy adult Myers pic; it's dark out, he's holding a knife and I'm sure his intentions are just the slightest bit horrific. Among the rest, there's a pic of the Myers' house, a Myers grave, poor old Sheriff Bracket and -- whaddya know -- Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton) in another family-friendly pose ... with those two adorable little kids (Lindsey Wallace and Tommy Doyle) on either side.
When will Zombie release a pic of Laurie Strode that doesn't look as if she just stepped off the set of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2: Tricks and Treats? Seriously man, I want to see Laurie freaked out -- after all, her psychotic older brother is stalking her every move, hell-bent on slicing his way right through that camera-friendly smile. I want to be scared before even setting foot in the theater -- c'mon Zombie, give us something, anything. So far, all I see is Halloween: The Disney Musical ... featuring Laurie Strode and her cute smile. It's bad enough we're getting Halloween on August 31 and not, well, Halloween (because, ahem, I believe that's when the real horror films get released), but I would like see more of an effort on Zombie's part to drum up some excitement. You?
