And you thought bullets were a bad thing? If you ask any entertainer, I'm sure at some point during their rise to stardom it was a goal of theirs to land on the cover of Rolling Stone. Well, Cinematical would like to formally congratulate Rosario Dawson and Rose McGowan for achieving what most women their age only dream about -- a spot on the cover of Rolling Stone, naked, with only bullet straps covering up those precious private areas.
Not only does it objectify women and promote violence, but it also makes you really want to see Grindhouse this weekend. Ain't America grand? In the photo, the two stand back-to-back (yes, I remember that scene from Requiem for a Dream too), air-brushed in all the right places so that, when they stare out at you, it's almost like their eyes are sending you a message: "Come buy me horny boy. Blow me up and cover your dorm room with my image. Oh, and then go see Grindhouse." Here's hoping Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez include a behind-the-scenes of that Rolling Stones photo session on the DVD. Oh c'mon, I can't be the only one interested in the way they lit the room? (To see the cover in all its naughty glory, click on the picture above.)
