  • Richard Graff (c.1925-2007) - Distribution executive who had worked for Universal, MGM/UA, Weintraub Entertainment Group and American Intl. Pictures. Most recently he worked for Danjaq, where he oversaw worldwide distribution of the 007 films, including Casino Royale. He is best remembered for coming up with the idea to release blockbuster movies on the day before Thanksgiving, while at Weintraub. The first film to get such a booking was Rocky IV. He died May 4, in Tarzana. (Variety)
  • Dabbs Greer(1917-2007) - Actor (pictured) who appears in The Green Mile, Con Air, Shenendoah, I Want to Live, The Cheyenne Social Club, the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the original House of Wax. He also had uncredited roles in a number of classics, including Monkey Business and The Spirit of St. Louis, but he's best remembered today for his television work, which included regular roles on Little House on the Prairie and Gunsmoke. He died of a kidney and heart ailment April 28, in Pasadena, California. (Variety)
  • Shoichiro Ikemiya(c.1924-2007) - Author of the novel (play?) 47 Ronin, which was made into a movie by Kon Ichikawa. He died of lung cancer May 6, in Tokyo. (Yahoo! Asia)
  • Roy Jensen(c.1927-2007) - Actor and stunt man who appears in Chinatown, Red Dawn, The Way We Were, Paint Your Wagon and Every Which Way But Loose. He did stunts for How the West Was Won, The Great Escape and Our Man Flint. He died of cancer April 24, in Los Angeles. (Variety)
  • Paul Kimatian(c.1946-2007) - Writer and producer of Deuces Wild. He was also first assistant director of Hot Dog ... the Movie, an assistant production coordinator for The Last Waltz, unit manager for Deathsport and still photographer for Taxi Driver and New York, New York.   • Kazuo Kitamura(1927-2007) - Japanese actor who starred in a number of Shohei Imamura's films, including Black Rain, Warm Water Under a Red Bridge and Vengeance is Mine. He also appears in Tora! Tora! Tora!, Kurosawa's High and Low and Kobayashi's Kaidon. He died of pneumonia May 6, in Tokyo. (Yahoo! Asia)
