I'm such a huge, campy Wes Anderson fan -- I'm almost embarrassed to tell you that I shed a tiny tear while watching the much-anticipated trailer for his newest film, The Darjeeling Limited. I've found something to love in each of his films (yes, that includes The Life Aquatic), but I can also see how Anderson's style is not for everyone. I guess, for me, the ability to feel his movies is what I like the most. His characters are almost always very bizarre -- not your everyday Tom, Dick and Larry -- but he always finds a way to make them so relatable. And don't even get me started on his musical tastes. Let's just say all his films sound just as fantastic as they look. Can you tell I'm geeking out a little bit here?

Anyway, The Darjeeling Limited. It stars Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman as three brothers who go on a spiritual journey of sorts through India following their father's death. Right off the bat, the trailer shows us that these three guys, although brothers, are not close at all. Not only do they look completely different, but they don't seem to know a thing about the other. I love the line when Schwartzman says, "I wonder if we could've been friends in real life. Not as brothers, but as people." I guess that sort of sums up what this film is about -- three guys trying to find meaning in their relationship, aside from the blood relation. It just looks spectacular, and although this is the first Anderson film for Brody, he looks right at home. I'm not sure what else I can say about it -- just go watch it now. And if you're a die hard Anderson fan, let us know what you think. The Darjeeling Limited hits theaters in limited release on September 29.
