There are many things in this world that you can only appreciate after you experience them. One of them would have to be the free Sundance Film Festival shuttle buses, which calmly and cleanly take you from point A to point B during the duration of the festival. That alone would be reason to like them, but the fairly hilarious overheard conversations and have-you-seen-it-yet buzz give you a reason to love them. Then, when you actually realize that if you were trying to drive during Sundance, you'd be sharing icy, treacherous narrow roads with an influx of New Yorkers (who rarely drive) and L.A. residents (who rarely drive in snow)? Well, that makes the shuttle buses proof that some higher power -- perhaps Robert Redford -- truly cares for us and wants us to be safe.
