Keira Knightley dresses for (Oscar) success.

Period piece/costume drama + Keira Knightley? It's a proven formula, with Knightley scoring a Best Actress nomination for 2005's 'Pride and Prejudice' and last year's 'Atonement' racking up seven nods (her 'Silk,' however, wasn't so lucky).

In 'The Duchesss,' Knightley plays Georgina, The Duchess of Devonshire,"the subject of universal conversation"; basically she's like the Angelina Jolie of 18th century England. But whereas Angie has Brad, Georgina has Ralph Fiennes' Duke of Devonshire, who, to put it simply, is one loathsome SOB.

The buzz out of the Toronto Film Festival is that Knightley will score her second Academy Award nomination. See for yourself in this exclusive clip that finds Georgina wondering if a little conversation with the required marital nookie is too much to ask for.
