Yasuaki Nakajima's science fiction film After the Apocalypse was a hit on the festival circuit back in 2004, screening at SXSW and the Los Angeles Film Festival, among others. The film sort of fell off the map for a few years, but now it's back thanks to the fine folks at Cinetic who've rescued the movie and made it available to purchase on iTunes and Amazon VOD. Here's a brief synopsis:

AFTER THE APOCALYPSE is Yasuaki Nakajima's 2004 science fiction film about five survivors trying to make sense of a New World after a devastating urban catastrophe challenges their basic human needs. Set in a bleak, post-urban landscape in the aftermath of the Third World War, the film presents a strangely limited environment where a single woman and four men are forced to communicate without words as a result of destructive gasses from the war.
