Move over all you "sexy" nurses and french maids, it's time to let the Marvel superheroes have a chance to slut it up and become the center of attention at whatever random Halloween party they're invited to this year. Our friends over at Comics Alliance have pointed us toward a new "Women of Marvel" line of Halloween costumes over at Disguise that may not be the most accurate in terms of representing the actual superhero costumes, but makes up for all that in terms of how much room they leave for bare skin.

Here, we'll let the folks from Disguise explain: "Inspired by some of the most well known Marvel super heroes we have created a line of fashion forward costumes for women and girls who have the desire to be fun and playful for Halloween. Who says comic books are only for boys because with great power comes great style. Great to team up with a few of your fellow super heroines to save the world."

Wait, did they just say ... "for women and girls"? Um, how about we try to persuade the "girls" not to dress up as American Dream Sassy Prestige this year and opt for something that doesn't scream one-night-stand? To each their own, but I think I agree with Comics Alliance when they said, "Look, we get that Marvel wants some of that sweet, sweet adult Halloween costume money. And we're sure these will sell to lazy costumers and/or anyone going to a "pimps and hos" party. But shouldn't a "Women of Marvel" costume line actually, you know, represent the women of Marvel? Outside of Black Cat and White Queen, these costumes are just downright lazy."

Check out some of the costumes below and let us know what you think ...
