[Welcome to the Sci-Fi Lunch Break, where we'll be supplying you with a cool bit of audio/visual goodness to break up the monotony of the work day. You bring the turkey on rye, we'll bring you something out of this world to watch while you eat it.]
If Felicia Day, the beautiful songstress from Joss Whedon's web experiment "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" and the web series "The Guild", didn't already have enough credibility in the geek community, then today's Lunch Break video will put her over the time. NASA hired the actress to star in this "mock behind-the-scenes" educational video explaining what happens when two galaxies collide, and the result is a charming 10 minutes that will slip some knowledge behind your otherwise tough astrophysics-is-for-nerds exterior.
Oh, and keep your ears out for a funny little cameo from Samwise Gamgee himself, Sean Astin.
