Kotaku and various other gaming sites are reporting that the demo for Valve's latest cooperative zombie slaughterfest, Left 4 Dead 2, is now available for download on Xbox Live. If you've got a Gold Live account and 1.69 GB of free space on your HDD, then you too can know the joys of shooting the undead in the face.
If, for some reason, you only have a Silver Live account, then you'll have to wait a week to join in. This might be time to think about upgrading...
Players who do get in on the demo action will be treated to gameplay set in the new title's Parish region. Gamers will be able to test out the new melee weapons and check out the Special Infected. The PC demo hasn't opened to the masses at the time of this writing, but it seems likely that it will be available shortly.
Left 4 Dead 2 will be available at retail for the Xbox 360 and PC on November 17th.
