[Welcome to the Sci-Fi Lunch Break, where we'll be supplying you with a cool bit of audio/visual goodness to break up the monotony of the work day. You bring the turkey on rye, we'll bring you something out of this world to watch while you eat it.]
Alright, look. We all laughed at Star Wars Kid using a curtain rod as a lightsaber, but who among us hasn't actually pretended they're a Jedi? I wager there isn't a single person in this virtual room who hasn't made the swooshing sound of a lightsaber in their lifetime, it's just that most of us don't have the balls to capture it on film. The folks behind RvD2: Ryan vs Dorkman 2, on the other hand, love putting fantasy lightsaber battles on film, which is why today's lunch break brings us their seven-minute long duel.
This short has been floating around the web for two or so years, but a few weeks ago the creators uploaded it in HD (or as HD as YouTube gets, at least) to show off how much effort they put into the production. The first fight in an open air room isn't particularly impressive, but then the battle moves to closer quarters and the pair get to play around with lightsabers gliding through various materials before once again clashing together.
