Variety reports that L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's official newspaper, clearly wasn't as enthralled by 'Avatar' as the teeming masses who have flocked to the 'Titanic' director's new eye-popping movie. A recent review has dismissed Cameron's story of an ex-marine infiltrating an alien world as "bland."
