Universal hasn't made any official announcements regarding the future of The Fast and the Furious, but that doesn't mean they aren't planning and plotting new ways to separate car race loving teenagers from their allowance. Vin Diesel's official Facebook page was updated this past Saturday with two things. One was a shirtless picture of the D&D player looking, well, diesel, while the other was a reaction to a new pitch submitted by Universal's new busy screenwriter, Chris Morgan.

Vin says, "If 2009's 'Fast and Furious' was chapter one, what writer Chris Morgan just delivered is Chapter 2 and chapter 3. I have never been submitted a two story saga from a studio before... it is very exciting, and shows a commitment level that is hard not to respond to. Excited about the sexy locations the filming of this saga would take us... this novel like story, that has twists and unexpected turns that is authentic, truthful and challenging to the characters."

So, hypothetically we have two new Fast and Furious movies in the pipeline. There's no mention of any of the other actors, however, but considering the emphasis put on how "truthful" to the characters the pitch was, these new films are likely to bring together all the major players from the past films.

And I don't know about you, but to me this is great news. Finally I can stop wondering what kind of mischief Bow Wow has been getting into in Tokyo since we last saw his character winning hearts and minds the world over. But what about you? Are you up for more Vin Diesel and CGI zooms through engine parts?
