Despite receiving bouquets of dead flowers from heartless movie critics, the star-filled romantic comedy 'Valentine's Day' is dominating the long weekend that includes both Valentine's Day and Monday's President's Day holiday.

According to Sunday estimates from Exhibitor Relations, Inc., which monitors news and trends for the movie exhibition business, 'Valentine's Day' is on track for a three-day total of $52.4 million in ticket sales and as much as $60 million through Monday.

That's not to say everyone was in the mood for contrived love. Thanks to teenage boys and young men, the action fantasy 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief' is looking at a three-day of $31.1 million, while the latest version of the horror classic 'The Wolfman' is just behind with $31.6 million.
