Last night's Oscar tribute to writer, producer, director John Hughes who passed away last August was moving (that song "Don't You Forget About Me" always takes me back) and it was pretty cool to see so many stars of his films in one place (watch it after the jump). Speaking of which, is it just me or does Macaulay Culkin look like he has not changed at all since he was 10?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there may yet be at least one more movie in the Hughes filmography. Grisbys Go Broke is the title of an unproduced Hughes screenplay that is currently floating around Hollywood and it's the story of a wealthy Chicago family who lose everything and are forced to move to the sticks. This is one of many unproduced/unpublished pieces the writer's familly found after his passing.

Apparently word was spreading last Friday that Paramount was interested in the property and that they were considering having it produced by Joe Roth of Alice in Wonderland fame. Paramount has since stated that they are not looking to buy the screenplay. Whether it's just too early for them to say anything or they are genuinely not interested is hard to say. Paramount produced several of Hughes' movies including Pretty in Pink (a personal favorite), Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Considering the number of hit movies Hughes was attached to I have to imagine some studio will be interested.

What do you think? Interested in one more John Hughes film, or should we leave it alone if he can't direct it himself?
