You can't say that Hugo Weaving doesn't know his fan base.

After major roles in two geek-cred trilogies ('The Matrix' and 'Lord of the Rings'), voicing a legendary alien robot ('Transformers') and making a hero turn in an Alan Moore graphic novel adaptation ('V for Vendetta'), Heat Vision reports that Weaving is atop Marvel's list to play boneheaded villain Red Skull in the upcoming comic book film 'The First Avenger: Captain America.'
