If you missed out on the Spierig brothers' futuristic vampire flick Daybreakerswhen it played theaters this past January, don't fret--Shock Till You Drop is reporting that Lionsgate has you covered with a DVD and Blu-ray version set for release on June 1st.

Vampire fans who pick up the DVD will be treated not only to a tale about a world run by bloodsuckers (including Sam Neil and Ethan Hawke), but bonus materials including a featurette about the Making of Daybreakers, audio commentary with the directors and special FX designer Steve Boyle, trailers, and a poster gallery.

Those who splurge on the Blu-ray disc will get the better picture and the supplements listed above. However, instead of a featurette on the making of the film, Blu-ray owners will get a full-length documentary that covers the production of Daybreakers in-depth. On top of that, the package includes The Big Picture--a Spierig brothers short film, a story board and animatics film comparison, and a second disc with a digital copy.
