At 11 PM on a Friday night in New York City, a person can literally do everything from eat Peruvian cuy (guinea pig) to attend an art opening alongside Woody Allen and James Franco. So why would over 500 people instead decide to stand outside of a Best Buy near Union Square? Because 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' DVDs and Blu-Rays were going on sale at midnight.

What made this store even more special on this particular night: Actor Peter Facinelli was there signing DVDs and meeting the first 50 Twi-Girls (and even a couple Twi-Guys). To claim their spots at the front of the line, three young women arrived at 7 PM -- only moments before three of their equally-obsessed friends. One could feel the rivalry brewing between the two groups ... like vampires and werewolves.
