courtesy of funpeak.comThe world's most famous Conan the Barbarian and Amazing Spider-Man fanboy, Barack Obama, was seen purchasing a copy of Star Wars: A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy at an Iowa bookstore for the son of Robert Gibbs, White House press secretary. It's not really hard news, but it's a cute reminder of our President's youthful energy (and personal geekdom), if anything.

I could be really partisan here and lament that Obama seems to care more about Star Wars than Star Trek, but I'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt, as I've never seen a Star Trek pop-up book. Obama's bold pro-Star Wars decision-making this week will probably have Capitol Hill speculating on his Prequel versus OT stance for many years to come.
