We were almost fooled by the realistic-looking "elementary school play" that purportedly reenacted Brain De Palma's ultra-violent 1983 cult classic 'Scarface.' The shaky, hand-held video. The cheap props. The Youtube username Cindymomof6, a homemaker from Bartonville, IL.

It was convincing enough to immediately foist outrage at the parents and school board that would allow their children to perform a theatrical version of the profanity-laced, violent film -- even if every f-bomb was replaced with a determinedly less vulgar (and oh-so-adorable!) "fudge."

But TMZ reports this morning that, far from a school play, the video is the brainchild of music video director Marc Klasfeld of Rockhard Films, whose previous clients have included Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert.
