I've learned a lot of things in my thirty or so years of watching horror films, and one point that's been driven home for me over and over again is to never attend a rave or party held at an abandoned warehouse, funeral home, or military facility. Trust me, it never ends well.

The characters in the new indie film Underground apparently never got the memo on the inherent dangers of getting your party on in these locations, because they wind up at a rave held in--you guessed it--an abandoned military bunker. When things go wrong, former veterans Matt and Storm find themselves face-to-face with some genetically engineered creatures designed to be ultra killing machines (is there any other kind?). Can they lead a group of fellow ravers to the surface and safety or are they all destined to become genetically-engineered mutant soldier feed? I guess we'll have to wait to find out.

Aside from this trailer (which comes courtesy of Dread Central) details about Underground are pretty hard to come by. For example, I have no clue who directed this film--which is sad, because it genuinely looks good. You can cruise by the official Underground website, but all you'll find there currently is a link the trailer and a contact button. In fact, I can't even find any pictures for this movie--hence the generic bunker image above. I hope these guys get a little more proactive about marketing...
