We've talked a bunch about the open source Star Wars fan film Star Wars: Uncut, in which hundreds of Star Wars geeks came together to recreate A New Hope in 15-second bursts. Casey Pugh is the dude who's attempting to piece this thing together, and while I'm sure he's dealing with a giant mess of clips, based on this brief section of the film, it appears as if the final product will be a blast to watch. Will we get tired of things changing every 15 seconds? Probably ... by about minute 10. But you can't take away the fact that this was one ambitious effort, and to see a community of fans come together like this is not only unprecedented, but it also tugs at those fanboy heartstrings just a tad.
