Not content with merely inventing flying jellyfish and robopenguins, the robotics firm Festo has continued their mission of bringing amazing evolutionary advantages found in nature and bringing them under the limitless command of power crazy humans. Sure, their work seems far more beautiful and benign than, say, robots that transport gun ammunition, but how is there newest creation ,dubbed the Bionic Handling Assistant, supposed to bring to mind anything but the inevitable robopocalypse?

I've no doubt that large, agile, and inhumanly powerful robotic arms are indeed useful to those in the industry who require such devices for more sophisticated automation processes - and they say their design is based on the elephant's trunk - but surely these are the precursors to the villainous Dr. Octopus.
