Eight years after 'Chicago' won the Oscar for Best Picture, Miramax's accounting practices are once again being called into question.

The creative team behind the original Broadway musical claim that Miramax owes them more than $12 million from the film and its hit soundtrack, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bob Fosse's heir, the estate of lyricist Fred Ebb and still-surviving composer John Kander have sued the Walt Disney-owned company over claims that their audit of the film shows "underreporting of more than $165 million in gross receipts." Bottom line: They want a bigger chunk of the film's $300 million profits and, per a 1980 agreement, 15 percent of soundtrack royalties.
