The only two things that 'Up' and 'The Hangover' have in common is neither featured big-named actors, and both were the top-grossing summer comedies of 2009. On the other hand, celebrity-packed 'Land of the Lost' and 'Funny People' were two of the biggest summer box office disappointments. Did Hollywood take note and cast the new rising stars of comedy in this summer's comedies? Not so much.

Aside from 'MacGruber' and 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,' 2010's summer comedies are packed full of stars. Even the "indie" highlight, 'Cyrus,' has four big names. We're not complaining -- almost all of the movies below look promising. It will be great to see Penélope Cruz battle for screen time in 'Sex and the City 2' and Mark Wahlberg attempt to follow Will Ferrell's lead in 'The Other Guys.' And who knows ... even with all these stars, there's still plenty of room to discover the next Zach Galifianakis.
