There is no such movie called Warriors of the Wind. Not exactly. There is, however, a movie called Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (aka Kaze no tani no Naushika), a beautiful piece of post-apocalyptic fantasy from visionary director Hayao Miyazaki. Warriors of the Wind is the bastardized, English-dubbed version of Nausicaa from New World Pictures.
New World cut many scenes from the film (reportedly a half-hour's worth), changed the music, and re-named Nausicaa "Zandra" for no apparent reason. I've never seen Warriors of the Wind, but its poster doesn't seem to depict much that I remember from Nausicaa (outside of that air-glider thing she's riding). I believe the main story in both film remains intact, about irradiated animals whose habitat is disrupted by human factions fighting over an angel egg, left behind from Armageddon. The film put Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli on the map, and paved the way for the kind of thoughtful, ecologically-minded animated fantasy films that would eventually earn Miyazaki an Academy Award with Spirited Away.
