Steam is king in Finland. Whether you live in downtown Helsinki, mine for gold in the north country, or just hang out with your pet grizzly bear, building a sauna, getting naked and drinking beer is as important as sleeping or breathing in this Nordic culture. While it's hard to imagine building a 85-minute film around men taking steam baths staring blankly into the vapour, that is just what directors Jonna Berghall and Mika Hotakainen have done – and with heartbreakingly beautiful results.
