The cast of survivors for AMC's highly anticipated television series based on the popular Image comic book The Walking Dead continues to grow. The project, being helmed by Frank Darabont, added two new cast members yesterday. Read on to find out who they are and what characters they'll be playing.

THR is reporting that actress Laurie Holden has signed on to play Andrea, a character from Robert Kirkman's zombie epic who's deadly with a sniper rifle and involved in a May-December romance with a man twice her age. Holden previously worked with Darabont on his adaptation of Stephen King's The Mist and had a recurring role in the final season of FX's cop drama The Shield.

In other news, Steven Yuen has been cast as Glenn, one of the youngest adult members of the original survivor group. The Walking Dead Wiki describes him as an Asian American who was on the brink of financial ruin and about to have to return to live with his parents when the zombie outbreak occurred. Yuen and Holden join fellow castmates Jeffrey DeMunn, Andrew Lincoln and Jon Bernthal on the show, which has already been picked up for six episodes at AMC. The series is set to begin filming on May 15.
