I had planned on making it up to Dallas, TX for the Texas Frightmare horror convention two weekends ago, but events conspired against me and I ended up missing out on it. That means I missed out on their screening of the newly-restored uncut version of Dark Night of the Scarecrow. And as bummed as I am to have not seen Frank De Felitta's telemovie on the big screen, at least I have the consolation of knowing when this notorious film is finally released on DVD this September 28th.

Shock Till You Drop has the cover art and details for the new disc and I'm even more excited than before. Not because it's getting a feature-packed disc, though the audio commentary from director De Felitta and writer J.D. Feigelson is appreciated, but because the cover art quotes Vincent Price, "Mar-vel-ous! I was terrified!" And really, can you have a better source for a pull quote than Vincent Price?
