It looks like the latest Spanish thriller-horror flick from film cyborg Guillermo del Toro, Julia's Eyes, is shaping up nicely. We have the recently released trailer for your viewing pleasure after the jump and the new onesheet that hit the web today, courtesy of Latin Horror and Dread Central.

Belén Rueda -- a familiar face from The Orphanage -- stars alongside Lluis Homar (Broken Embraces) as a woman who is slowly going blind while she investigates the mysterious death of her twin sister. The film is being directed by Guillem Morales, who also shares a writing credit with Oriol Paulo. The story is shot from Julia's POV and producer Joaquin Padro describes the film as, " ... an excuse to talk about a woman who overcomes her limitations; it's a journey of self-discovery."

Bits of the trailer feel a little Lynchian and while I've heard some horror fans peep about how they wish there was more going on, I have faith in the Spanish faction -- especially when Del Toro's name is involved. Hit the jump to get an eyeful and let us know what you think.
