Welcome to the Moviefone Movie Club, where we pick a movie, see it and then discuss it with all of you. This week: 'Sex and the City 2' -- in both a "girls edition" and a "boys edition."
Fans of the 'Sex and the City' TV series said goodbye to the show six years ago with Carrie in Paris, finally reunited with Mr. Big. And it seemed a fitting end to the series ... until the big-screen movie, which devotees of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte received with a mixture of delight and disappointment.
Now the second 'SATC' movie, 'Sex and the City 2,' is out in theaters, sending Carrie and "the girls" to Abu Dhabi for some rest and relaxation. Naturally, some drama (cough Aidan cough) follows them there, too.
What do fans think of this new sequel? Patricia Chui, Amber James, Denise Warner and Kelly Woo talk about their experience watching 'SATC2' as women and as fans of the show -- was this movie better than the first one? Worse? What did they originally love about the series, and did those elements translate to this movie? And what was the deal with this movie version of Samantha?
