Are you sick of only singing along to Grease from the comfort of your own home, with your only audience being creepy neighbors and passerby who peep through your window? Well, Paramount is ready to help you out with that. Deadline reports that the studio has just announced the re-release of their popular film -- not just the musical, but rather a digitally enhanced sing-a-long version. The singing extravaganza will get a limited release on July 8, before expanding to other Grease-loving markets on July 23.

Sure, it's a cash grab, but it looks like a smart one. In my experience, I've never seen a film get more love outside cinematic circles. I've watched many a party and club explode in insanity when a song from the movie plays, and frankly, its duality as both a kid's tale and raunchy adult musical give it a longevity most films don't have. Add to that the ever-growing popularity of Glee, which had a few visits from Sandy herself, and the idea becomes a no-brainer.

Will you head out for a little studio-sanctioned musical fun? Will there be a C-O-O-L R-I-D-E-R pre-show? Is "sing-a-long" the word?
