After I got done squealing and bouncing around in my seat, I was able to compose myself enough to write this. Lucio Fulci -- the Godfather of Gore -- has always held a special place in my heart. His film Zombi is part of the reason why. Zombie vs. shark and Olga Karlatos getting a sharp splinter rammed into her eye made Fulci's film into an iconic example of Italian horror cinema. Clearly, the guys at KitKong's Model Mansion feel the same way, as witnessed by their absolutely awesome resin sculpture of one of the walking dead from the film.

This model has it all: a cool base which features another half-buried zombie, gravestones with Gianetto de Rossi's name on one and "Fulci Lives" on the other, and it even comes pre-painted so you don't have to worry about screwing it up with your total lack of artistic ability. I've never seen one of these bad boys before, so the price seems right -- buy it (or just drool over the pics) and then invite me over so I can stare at it longingly.
