InceptionAdd this to 'Inception's' list of puzzling, only-in-dreams feats: it's grossed $100 million in just seven days.

Having opened July 16 with an impressive $62.8 million weekend debut, Christopher Nolan's brain-bending sci-fi thriller continued to perform strongly throughout the week. As of Friday morning, July 23, according to estimates from distributor Warner Bros., the film has barely squeaked into the $100-million-in-one-week club with a total gross of $100,155,000.

Big deal, you say? Well, it doesn't happen as often as you might think. In fact, it's only the fifth movie this year to do so, after 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,''Toy Story 3,''Iron Man 2,' and 'Alice In Wonderland.' Plus, as Deadline Hollywood notes, it's the only film on that list that's based on an original idea and is not a sequel or reboot; nor is it in 3-D.
