James Cameron's Avatar, officially the highest grossing film of all time, is making its way back to our cinema screens on 27 August.

According to the press release, since the film's release last December, "the number of available digital 3D screens has exploded, and moviegoers who missed experiencing the film in 3D, as well as fans that want to return to Pandora again, will now have that opportunity."

Not only that but Avatar: Special Edition has been beefed up by a whopping NINE minutes of additional footage that never made it into the original theatrical version.
