In case you missed it: Matthew Vaughn, director of Kick-Ass, Layer Cake and the upcoming X-Men: First Class has declared that comic books have been "mined to death" when it comes to film adaptations. He might be right. But in all likelihood, that sounds like doomsaying from someone that hasn't had the success he might have liked working with Marvel Studios (remember when he was working on X3: The Last Stand? Because I do!).

Hot on the heels of that news, Marvel Studios' chief Kevin Feige talked with MTV News to throw some potential project titles around. Stuff like The Runaways, Dr. Strange, even Guardians of the Galaxy.
