Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole leader/general crazy woman Courtney Love, was -- according to Love -- apparently offered the lead role in the 'Twilight' films, which she turned down. Tim Burton was also after her for the role of Alice in his recent 'Alice in Wonderland' movie. Not bad for a 17-year-old who's never acted before.

You should, however, take those claims with a grain of salt, as they come straight from her not always reliable mother. In an interview with Daily Mail's You Magazine, Love declared: "Frances is so beautiful, but she doesn't want to be famous. She was offered the part of Bella in the Twilight movies, and Tim Burton wanted her for Alice in Wonderland. But she wants to go to college: she's very good at graphic novels. [...] Frances will be fine, it'll be fine."
