Typically, when you head off to the theater you have a lot of movies to choose from. Blockbusters, cartoons, comedies, documentaries. So how do you know which movie to pick? While the criteria is different for everyone, Sony believes they have a universal answer: you know when the cast includes Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson.

That's the star-studded line-up for Sony's latest project, 'How Do You Know,' which is set to land in theaters on December 17, which is just in time for both the holiday movie crowd and awards season. Which is a good thing because 'How Do You Know's' writer/director/producer extraordinaire James L. Brooks pretty much has a permanent seat reserved for him at any Hollywood ceremony; over the course of his career he's won 20 Emmys for creating shows like 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' 'Taxi' and 'The Simpsons' and had three of his five previous films nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award -- 'Terms of Endearment,''Broadcast News,''As Good As It Gets.'
