Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with a tumor in his throat and will undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. Doctors expect the 65-year-old star to make a full recovery. "I am very optimistic," Douglas said in a statement that first appeared on People.com. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a spokesman for the star said that Douglas is expected to be well enough to do promotion for the upcoming 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,' which is due for release Sept. 24. He also has completed an acting assignment in the movie 'Haywire,' which is due for release in January 2011.
