
Oliver Platt has boarded the swelling cast of 20th Century Fox's 'X-Men: First Class.' The critically acclaimed character actor joins fellow Hollywood vet Kevin Bacon, as well as James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, in Matthew Vaughn's upcoming 'X-Men' origin flick.
Platt has signed to play a mysterious non-mutant character named The Man in Black, reports Deadline. It's unclear if Platt will be playing a hero or a villain or something in between as details about his role are being kept under wraps.
