'Let Me In,' based on novel 'Lat den Ratte Komma In' and directed by Matt Reeves, is a remake of the 2008 hit Swedish film 'Let the Right One In.' And with all the positive buzz surrounding it, the captivating horror-thriller (opening Friday, Oct. 1) is unlike most remakes to hit theaters as of late.

The movie stars 'Kick Ass' breakout actress Chloe Grace Moretz as Abby, a mysterious young girl who befriends a troubled boy named Owen, played by Kodi Smit-McPhee. When her father, played by Richard Jenkins, disappears after a string of horrifying murders, an abandoned Abby must fend for herself. Despite this, she resists any help from Owen and continually exhibits bizarre behaviors, which leads him to suspect that she's a vampire.
