Swedish actress Noomi Rapace is best known for playing anti-social hacker Lisbeth Salander in 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,' but that could change soon, as the young performer continues to line up roles in Hollywood productions.
According to the 'LA Times,' the latest project on Rapace's docket is 'The Last Voyage of Demeter,' a fleshed out version of an episode from Bram Stoker's classic vampire novel 'Dracula.' In the book, the Demeter is the name of the vessel that transported Dracula and his coffin from Transylvania to England. The ship runs aground during a fierce storm, with no one aboard -- save for the corpse of the ship's Captain, which is tied to the wheel of the vessel. An examination of the Captain's diary reveals that strange things happened during the voyage, things that could be attributed to a vampire.
