Scarlett JohanssonFor everyone who believes that Scarlett Johansson has been skating by on her sex appeal rather than her acting ability, we have ammunition for you! (We're not advocating that position, mind you, just reporting what we've heard.) The actress is slated to star as an alien who is "disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman" in 'Under the Skin,' according to Heat Vision.

The alien is said to search for human prey using her greatest weapon, namely, "her voracious sexuality." If that inspires thoughts of the frequently naked Natasha Henstridge in 'Species,' hold your horses. First, Ms. Johansson has kept her private parts very private in the past, thank you very much. She appears to be fine with teasing tastefully, without showing everything. Second, Scarlett the alien will not be quite so mating-minded throughout the movie as Natasha the test tube baby modified with alien DNA. Life on earth changes Scarlett the alien and she eventually comes into serious conflict with her fellow aliens. 'Species' was a fast-paced treat for action movie fans, while 'Under the Skin' sounds more thoughtful and potentially more provocative, especially when you consider that Jonathan Glazer co-wrote the script (with Walter Campbell) and is set to direct.
