'Clash of the Titans' was one of the biggest movies of the year, grossing over $160 million at the box office. Some may say that success came from audience's love of blockbuster action or mythological-based special effects or even the explosive 3-D technology. But those people are wrong. The real reason the film was a success came from the nuanced supporting performances of Oscar-nominated actors Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson.
Ok, maybe not. But with pre-production already beginning on 'Clash of the Titans 2' -- aka 'Wrath of the Titans' -- producers are looking to get on this year's Oscar-bandwagon early, and cast two of this year's biggest possible nominees for roles on Mt. Olympus, namely: James Franco and Javier Bardem.
