Every year about this time we find a bunch of amateur editors pop up with video love letters to the films that have graced the big screen over the course of the previous 356 days (see videos from 2009 and 2008 over here). It's something we all look forward to, and the videos themselves seem to get better and better each year. 2010 is no different, with the first round of videos arriving online this week.
Most notably there's a video titled 'Filmography 2010' that features a whopping 270 movies during its six-minute running time, all of which are brilliantly strung together using bits of dialogue and music from the films themselves. The editor of this particular video goes by the name Gen I, and while it won't be the only "2010 recap" video we stumble across over the next couple of weeks, it definitely sends a message to all those other aspiring end-of-year video montage editors out there that the competition will be tough in 2010.
Check out the video -- along with a full list of all 270 films in order of appearance -- after the jump. Let us know what you think of it in the comments below. Find anything that tops this yet?
